Gifts through your Will or Living Trust

By including a bequest to RU4Me Pet Rescue in your will, you enable us to continue our work of rescuing, rehabilitating, protecting, and rehoming unwanted and abused cats and dogs.

All bequests left to RU4Me Pet Rescue, no matter what the size, provide much needed resources and may allow you to take advantage of favorable charitable deduction tax laws. A bequest does not have to be cash, but may take other forms including but not limited to, life insurance, securities, IRA's, and real estate.

A gift to RU4Me Pet Rescue through your will or living trust is a powerful statement of your concern for our companion animal friends and of your support for RU4Me Pet Rescue's mission to provide loving care for homeless and unwanted dogs and cats in a no-kill environment until they are adopted into their forever homes.

The most common planned gift is a bequest of cash through your will or living trust. You can arrange for a gift of a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or even all or part of the residuary of your estate. If you would like to make such a gift, your attorney may wish to include language similar to the following:

"I hereby give and bequeath to RU4Me Pet Rescue,  a nonprofit Florida corporation now or formerly located at PO Box 6221, Lake Worth, Fl 33466, Federal Tax ID number 650874746, the sum of $ ____ in cash (or "x" percent of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate), to be used for its general purposes." (or specify a specific purpose or program).

If you already have a will, you can add a codicil with a bequest to RU4Me Pet Rescue.
